You actually did good. You've got one of the single most basic things down that a lot of people fuck up. That tits follow the laws of gravity. You accounted for posture and proportion very well! Keep up the practice, you'll definitely go very far.

Can you tell me more about that Species?

The Chimera are from the Resistance: Fall of Man series, but I've taken quite a lot of liberties with the design. They were once human, infected and mutated into soldiers to fight against the humans. The metal contraption on their backs (which I have failed to draw many, many times) is used for cooling their insides; canonically their metabolism is twelve times faster than a human's, generating excessive amounts of heat that would cook them from the inside if not maintained. I like to think of them as more reptilian? (I can keep going if you want)

Heh, thanks. Chimera are designed for combat - they have very little body fat and need large amounts meat to keep them healthy - they will eat anything including their own kind. While I cannot draw them, they only have sharp canine teeth - but most Chimera nowadays have them either filed down or extracted. They have large ribcages to house the internal components of their cooling appliances, they always stick out. They do have twin hearts and large lungs, but are missing digestive organs such as the liver, pancreas and a large part of their intestines. Some newer strains of Chimera have evolved past the need to cool themselves. I like to think of them as being able to slow down or speed up their metabolism when it suits them, so when they are idle they don't need to eat anywhere as much as normal.
I mainly deal with four strains of Chimera: Hybrids, Advanced Hybrids, Steelheads and Slipskulls. Hybrids are your 'average Joes' - they are made from a single human and stand around 6' 5". They are the most common strain and are used to following orders, so in general they are not too bright, but they are the most humanlike and more often remember who they were before being converted. Advanced Hybrids stand straighter and taller than Hybrids and have a much sharper intellect, often being able to both read and write in Chimeran as well as their main human language. Steelheads can be up to 8' tall and are very strong and stubborn with lesser preservation instincts. Their name derives from their metal helmets that enhance their vision and allow them to see through walls. Slipskulls are small and spindly scouts made from children. They are flexible and agile, used to climbing and jumping around, and their eyes can focus on two or more targets at the same time.

Never played 2 and 3, but I really liked Resistance Fall of Man. Probably my favorite strain design-wise was the Steelhead.
