Forminidis - one of three brother-demons from my setting. He is the demon of terror.
By Hissarians known as Dreamdestroyer, Terrorbringer/Horrorbringer, The King of Beetles. The last name he had received because it is believed that before Forminidis will come, a lot of beetles will be devastating the lands of Hiss.
He doesn't have one look as such - for every prey he changes one form to another, that will embody fears of its prey so it will be afraid of him more. Because of this ability every person describes him differently, so in the scrolls of different writers he describes differently as well. But there are some common features: he is described as something insect-like, without eyes, with a lot of holes in his body and something like "bag" on the centre of his head.
Despite the fact that he is imprisoned in the Hellforce reality, he still can easily enter into other's dreams.
The main source of his energy is terror. If you won't be afraid of Forminidis, he won't hurt you (except situation, if he will be near you in his physical incarnation in the real life). The excess of the received energy is accumulated in that "bag" on his head and when he will spend it while he is using magic, his spells will be more powerfull. This bag is very strong, so it's hard to injure it, but it's really. However, it's senseless. Eventually he will recover this bag.
Also it's believed, that even Gods afraid of Forminidis.
