If you have dinosaurs with feathers and you don't think they're cool, you're not trying hard enough. :P
But then again, I have a species that has the traits of raptors, birds, and some predatory mammals, so I've grown used to the aesthetic. Also, my fursona is a bird, so make of that what you will. XD
