I went on the tour last year when they had them running, you got to walk into the set used on the show.
I have to say that when they opened the door and you could see the console all lit up i got chills in places i didn't know i had places. It was surreal and fantastic. All the lights were on, the animations you see on the screens in the show and my god the background sound effects of the Tardis running. It was a very special moment.
