It was late afternoon on Palaven. Malak was treading through New Cirilus to meet with one of his close contacts. The meeting was about something big; too important to talk about over a com-link.
"What could this be about? It can't be good if Tirus won't let me know what's going on without coming to this place..." he wondered.
He was going to have to meet face-to-face.
As Malak walked through a known scummy part of town, he heard a noise coming from the side of the road and looked to investigate.
