i kinda wish they would have mixed up some of the tropes again! it feels like were getting very similar characters to 4, not that they were bad just would have been nice to see something new

Oh, really? They all feel like a breath of fresh air to me, even within characters from the same Arcana, I can't really say they look too close. I actually put these two together because of their names, and because they're my favourites from their respective games :P

these two boys are pretty different though! i meant like ryuji and kanji or i guess the high school detective i dont know his story yet and naoto, guess its not that bad cause they are well developed people but you can see what kind of personalities the writers enjoy

I see, I think that Kanji/Ryuji and Naoto/Akechi are pretty different though! Their stories, personalities and depth differ a lot, still. The basic character traits might be close, but overall you don't get tired of the "same" characters
