Little update about my Plague Doctor costume https://www.furaffinity.net/view/22485977/
Yesterday we went to Elfia at Kasteel Haarzuilen which is always a fun event: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSa4KzFqkvU
Anyways I had a few things sorted out for my costume as every good doctor needs a few "good things under his belt" XD
From left to right:
1: Potion pouch, pretty much the first thing I got for my outfit and certainly not the last.
2: Purity seal, I handpainted the 1536 Hippocratic Oath together with a few medical and alchemy symbols of that era on it.
3: Surgeon knife, this is kinda cool as on the event I wanted to buy this knife from a blacksmith shop but the knife sheath couldn't fit on my belt, the guy then went back and on the spot forged a metal holder for me. Despite his protest I gave him an extra for that.
4:Big potion, needs to be icky and gonna add leeches to the content, gotta find me some creepy rubber ones first XD

Oh he was and the fact that he just did it within 2 minutes was incredible, just one glance at my belt and he knew how to make the right size just shows he knows his stuff.

I do want to keep it real though, one guy said I was the first historical Plague Doctor he had ever seen and one that looks the part, most tend to go Fantasy or Steampunk. While those are fun I think I have found a niche that suits me, either way as you said I will be able to pimp out the costume for a very long time with all sorts of trinkets and creepy doctor's stuff XD
