I am aware others have named their original species "Guardians", but I have as well, for a long time, in my hand drawn comic. Their full species name is The Crystal Guardians, but it's always shortened as some folks in my comics find it easier to say.

This fella is the king of all of them. What he's wearing are leather bands with one tooth or claw from a family member of ancestor that came before him..which isn't many, as his particular "breed" of Crystal Guardian can live for millinnea , if not longer, at a time. he himself is over 50000 years old. In human terms he's be a 50 year old man.

Crystal Guardians are a distant relation to dragons, hence their long lives, at least for the royal blood-line. :)

His son's name is Malachi, but no one seems to know his..yet!
