Alright, it didn't take much, but i got talked into sharing a tidbit.
To preamble- I didn't want to block the view of the details, so i didn't watermark it. IF ANYONE STEALS THIS IN ANY WAY, DEATH WILL FOLLOW. I'm not kidding you in any way. I've worked 8 months on this project so far.
That done- onto cheerful things >^.^<
This is a view of the exterior of my building and the pool house behind it. The decoration you see? That's wrought iron suspended a few feet away from the brick exterior of the building. The design is purely my own, and drawn in a program called AutoCad, a drafting program. It likes straight lines, so trust me, this was very difficult to work with. I'm very proud of how this turned out though, as it conveys my idea beautifully.
I have all the details of my project in my head, and it could fill up many books, so if anyone has questions, feel free!
When I'm done, and if i'm feeling ambitious, i may post it here to show off what's been taking all my time (although some of it is boring as i've worked on this project in incredable detail so far)
The drawing, design, pattern, etc are © Sanura Mosi (and my real name which i won't be giving out here for my own safety! >^.^<)
(and before anyone asks, Brise Soliel, roughly means Sun Break in french)

As someone who appreciates quality architecture, I am MOST astounded at your arrogance to not only think this design of yours is good enough to steal, but to also blindly throw empty threats at anyone who might steal it. You are so in love with your own work you can't even see how plain and uninteresting it is.
That wrought iron does absolutely nothing to accentuate the design of the rest of the house. For crying out loud the rest of the house is nothing but boxes. If you were trying to combine Brutalist with Second Empire architecture (which I highly doubt you were) its still an unsuccessful combination of different designs.
I understand you put eight months of painstaking effort into this thing, but that's your fault for not knowing a faster, more efficient method of doing things in the program your using. I've modeled, textured, lit, and landscaped more complex architectural designs than this in 3d in under five hours. Putting your heart and soul into something like this doesn't make it any better from a design standpoint.
What I strongly suggest to you is that in the absence of technical skill with programs such as AutoCAD, you should REALLY start developing your traditional design skills so once you learn the program, you will already be able to do great things with it.

I'm always appreciative of critiquing, but as I MAY have gone about this the wrong way, you need to work on your manners. Its very unprofessional of you to attack me this way, instead of stating what was wrong with my design, you just told me how stupid i am.
And I can't "hurry along" my design, my entire last year comprised of my thesis project- 9 months, but what you assume is that i didn't work on anything else, or maybe have a life other than this. I didn't just whip up this design and this cad drawing in 8 months, i have incredable detail put into this project, and a lot of thought and consideration went into it. Now- obviously this being a thesis project, i couldn't get 1/100th of the thought process on one FA submission. I don't admit to being the next mies van der rohe, nor do i ever consider myself to be in my wildest dreams. I work with psychology of space, and the interior was a bit more important to me, although the exterior has a reason and a purpose.
Why is it taking me way too long? because i have other classes like a detailed, detailed specifications class- paired with a detailed estimating class, on my project. Oh, and i have a seperate documentation class to work on that's incredably detailed. But that's just excuses to you, I realize that from your tone. And i really hope you realize that THIS exterior isn't ALL i've been working on. I'm an interior design student, for gosh sakes. The interior has been taking all my efforts- i've had to build complicated to make, 3d furniture with technology i'm not an expert at. Not to mention fighting 3d cad to work with a LOT of spline lines. WHICH IT HATES TO DO.
So while this may look like i puked on the screen and assumed everyone would love it, I'm sorry you feel that way. The only thing i was afraid of anyone stealing is the actual pattern of the Brise Soliel, I put a good bit of work into it, and it may appeal to someone on its own. But OH BY THE WAY, since not many people who watch me bother looking at anything like this- i assumed no one would give a shit enough to comment *looks above* which i was right about- the only people who commented are complete strangers to me.
Thank you for taking one little tidbit about my design skills, and school career in general, and assuming you know exactly how i do everything. I appreciate someone telling me my work is crap without being tactful about it.
No you don't need to flame me from this, I felt the need to answer your comment (however stupid that probably was considering your tone). If you would like to discuss this further in a civil tone, and critique this as a professional, I'm MORE than happy to have input. Like I said i dont' pretend to be a genius of design, I realize I can use input- it IS how one improves in their given feild. If you wish to continue in the same tone as before, please dont' bother responding.
Thank you.
