Some say that you all eat your wright in gold on a weekly basis and that your left-most toe is actually a transceiver for signals from the mother ship. I say, you're all beautiful, lovely watcher-type people and you need some hugs, iced cream and latex-sex. Yes, indeed. *smiles*
Hullo! Couldn't let another helping of SUNDAY SACRILEGE sneak by, could I? *frumps* I am sorry, beautiful people of the world. I did that sleep thing again today and woke up with a craving for french fried potatoes which had to be sated or the world itself might have tasted DOOM. *snofts* Maybe that's a little melodramatic. I apologize.
*grins* But then again, so is the subject matter! *laughs* Oh, Jesus, you wacky kid, you... *smiles, shaking her head* You love me. You hate my "lifestyle choices". Your dad and I just reeeeeeaaaally don't get along but somehow, you just keep on keeping on. *claps, chuckling* You just do you, Jesus. You just do you. Maybe we'll go clubbing sometime.
In the meantime, hey- why not go clubbing, yourselves! *pauses* I mean, go out and dance at a club... not actually club yourselves with a blunt object of some sort- unless you're into that sort of thing. Call me. Have a lovely evening, sweet, sweet sexual sorbets.

It is a pretty odd pose.
Slightly unrelated, but they always blams Rome, when it givdn semi-free religious cults (by sheer uncare), as if the provice paid taxes and had no issues, they did not went after sects; they just held up the Pax Romana. Yet the Bible (and a few bits of the Talmud) speak of Rome as if it would be hell on earth, despite giving roads, medicine, peace, order, water, a cool scene from Life of Brian, etc.
That pokes me a lot more than that divine dictator, who holds a Victory Parade there every day and sends people to gulag- pardon, hell if they do wrong, and just made sure that the people who are not rich and powerful are living in the valley of misery.
Guess it is more the human thinking and zeitgeist what made this "god" fellows talk... But I am an atheist by the fact I read the books and found out that the three big religious just copy the old fables and shift the names.
All in all - that is an odd, probably uncomfortable pose you hold! I still love your boots a lot. :3

Oh. Okay. Aain, lacking both facial expression and tone of voice, comments have no context, so I have a very difficult time differentiating between compliment and insult. Combine this with my severe abhorrence of "meme" humour and what passes for "internet culture" and I'm very much the proverbial 'fich out of water' when it comes to even pleasant comments.
Thus I don't generally bother reading them even when I do have the time. *shrugs*
Still, I'm assuming this was a compliment and applying gratitude. *smiles*

You know... you might be being a little harsh on Christianity. Not various Christians, who claim to worship it, but the religion itself. God and Jesus most likely have very little to nothing to do with modern Christianity... they might not have had anything to do with it in the first place, or at least not after Jesus died. Humans have this horrible concept of 'making something their own', which in the case of things like the Bible means that every person who saw it as a tool for controlling people through faith wrote things in it to that end. I remember someone coming to a house I was visiting trying to sell a Bible that depicted black women having their unborn children being cut out of them in a positive light.
I came on your art randomly and looked at a few pictures, and thought I'd make this post. I have no idea what you've dealt with in relation to the Christians you have near or around you, but there are a lot of them who don't feel all that hate and anger towards people like it sounds like you've been coming up against. Personally, I think if there is a God who created the world, he hung around for a while, tried to fix things, then gave up and left us to our own devices a long time ago. After all, even those of us who claim to believe in him only do it in order to hopefully mooch off him in this life and then go back to live with him afterwards, like a child who is really bad at life skills borrowing money from a parent, then moving back into their basement after they've grown up.
I don't think they're all bad, or even *mostly* bad. They are though, as they describe themselves, sheep. They blindly follow the path they're pointed down for the most part, and only those few who realise that they're actually human and can think break out of that mold, which is more and more of them lately. Try not to hate them too much, or let them rile you up; last thing you need is them making you evil and stressed. Christianity has a few good points it tries to teach too, and the best Christians work off of those instead of all the hate and rejection based ideas.
