phrontisterion is a comic i'm working on!! it's a story about a bunch of magic bird-like creatures called phrontisterions that are deep into mysticism & philosophy and that sort of thing

sharkey is a modeled after a cardinal- hes the main character! hes excitable but over the simple things in life. he just wants to have a simple, happy existence and smell the roses, but things always get in the way

quake - a hummingbird phrontisterion. shes one of the only types that can fly, so her job is to check up on everybody and make sure everything in their town looks good

schooner - a swan phrontisterion. he owns the lakeside resort. hes very humble & kind

joop - a blue jay phrontisterion. hes nervous and wary and always worries over sharkey

bevel - a crow phrontisterion. hes a scientist who researches ways to combine magic with physical science. he cares a lot about joop and sharkey, & although his research benefits the bad guys, bevel believes its gotta be done

prince - kingfisher phrontisterion. hes snobby and entitled, but generous and loves his friends

diamond frisk - magpie phrontisterion and the main villain. diamond has warped intentions about the 'utopia' life in their world of phrontistery. diamonds older sister was killed, & since being exposed to the reality of death and how dangerous life really is, he wants to use the magic of phrontistery for immortality. the other overseers of their world want to stop him at any cost

barker - woodpecker phrontisterion. she is hyper and loves speed and action, but shes down-to-earth and looks for logical solutions
