Chapter 9 of Werewolf Tale II
Several things to note once again. The time of the shift, as before, is actually 3 in the afternoon, but the time Alex gives for when he becomes hungry for living meat is also different.
Because of the rewrite, in both instances when it happened -- the night he shifted for the first time and the night he spoke to his parents -- the hunger surfaced within 24 hours. After this chapter, the adjusted times and events will go into play.
Marcus' role in this chapter is one I had in mind while the original Werewolf Tale was being rewritten, so it's nice to get to treat him as the voice of reason. As for what he brings up about Alex's hunger, that subject was part of the reason why Chapter 10 was such a struggle, at least until I decided to ignore it, move on, and come back to it later.
That said, enjoy.
