
I found this lurking around on a forgotten CD of burned artwork and was very excited because I had thought I didn't have it anymore. The photo is of an original sculpted piece of the Cheshire cat from American McGee's Alice, the first game. The piece stood about three inches tall and was a pain to create. The sculpture, unfortunately, no longer exists. I think it was smashed somehow...
Either way, I'm glad I still have this image of it! Maybe I'll try making another sometime. *shrug*
Two photos, one sculpture. Sculpey 3 clay, translucent wire for the whiskers, brass wire for the earring and acrylics for the colors. I don't remember how long it originally took to sculpt him.
