This scene only serves the purpose to demonstrate a harmonising clan, in which no one questions a relationship between two male gargoyles.

Also the members of the clan, be it young or old, always try to help, if there are problems within the relationships. No matter whom it concerns.

The think of it as nothing special, to also help here and no one dares to criticise this sort of love.

It is only propable to assume, that Gargoyles are more advanced in their evolution than humans also in this respect. They don't mind, where and in what circumstances love happens to emerge.
