I found a pair of rabbits in my back yard feasting on my dandelion crop. One bounded off when I approached, but this one was content to pose for me.

What a great pic! I had a family of rabbits out by the river behind my trailer, but I could never get close enough for a snap like this.

Thanks. The ones that live in and around my yard have gotten used to my dogs and me (for the most part). Even Frannie, with her hound dog instincts, will flush the bunnies, but doesn't put up a sustained chase.

Nice capture! Rabbits are so impossible for me to get photos of, even "Tame" ones that live in cities and are used to people. I've only gotten good shots of a Rabbit once, and it was a Desert Hare in Arizona. Otherwise they are gone the second my hand reaches for the camera...

I can't explain why the rabbits are so at ease with me. I'm just grateful that they give me photo opportunities like this one.

It's a fair trade. You let them eat dandelions and you get a picture.
