While trying to figure out how to approach some of this one, I happened to think of Yes ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1360307/ ), with the interesting leg-fin-things, and ended up doing that for this guy. Sorta. It is a neat idea, and I don't think it's overdone, so...yeah. :D

i think i may have a diagram of sorts in my scraps smewhere on the yes account all it really is is an extension of the hind flap found on alot of the philinopsis species of sea slug, the "legs" are formed by a pleat in the center of the flaphttp://www.seaslugforum.net/images/m18703d.jpg
