Version one of a practice painting. This whole thing started as just an exercise on making clouds look good, became something else. I had plans on adding other details, like tentacles and such to the monster, but lost interest.

Sky, mountains and birds in the background, that's pretty great, but tower is severely lacking. Like, the window glow makes it feel like there's a sky shining but judging by how grey sky looks, that's not very likely. Also shading and perspective on that thing are in general wonky but that's okay, you'll master it eventually. Also in case you ever decide working on this more for some reason, I would recommend trying to make the thing drop shadows, at least giving it a try.
