TOR-009 Sgt. “Red” Deere, Royal Space Marines

From 1992 and signed "TP," this is the oldest G-rated color piece in Tim's official catalog, and another one he withdrew from his line-up in the late 1990s, so this may be new to most of you. Here we have a Red Deer soldier in a subtle sci-fi theme, walking tall and carrying a BFG. Note: this upload was scanned from a color print: I don't know where the hand-colored original is.

You know, I kept joking with Tim that drawing G-rated artwork was a waste of his talent, but in truth I loved everything he drew, no matter the subject. Finding all these old treasures was a pleasant surprise, because when he told me years ago he'd pulled them from his catalog, I feared they were lost forever. Then I found his spare art binder with masters for the prints he'd retired, so I get to share them with you.
