Wow it's been a long time since I posted some art. Well things have been pretty busy around here since my dad's passing. We've had to deal with getting all the stuff related to that settled which has mostly fallen to me and on top of that we're also dealing with a move to a somewhat bigger place to take in my mom. Plus I've had a hard time finding the drive. But this pic is a little something special.

I sketched it up the night before my dad passed. He liked animals and well dogs most of all though he favored things with wolves. So for this I drew him as one. My mom being a cat person well no surprise she ends up as one in my pic here. As for me. Well I always hear how I favor my dad in build but with m mom's hair and such.

So here I am as well mostly wolf with a feline coat. I may do more with this in the future. I've tenatively set this lil version of my family in my Amalia fur universe so who knows what's to come of it and ideas for it. For now I suppose it stands as a reminder of family and what it means. Family shapes us in a lot of ways. I know I wouldn't be the person I am today if not for my dad. All the things I enjoy that I remember him introducing me to so long ago when I was little. Heh. He helped make me the proud nerd I am today. I know I'll miss him for a while. All those things bit and small about him. But I'll keep on and keep those memories of him alive.
