--Wow. This is easily one of the most impressive anthropomorphic pieces I've seen on this entire archive.
You do so much with simple colors and line-- it's got such an amazing mood.
Makes me wish I was looking at you while you did it. I know, sounds creepy. I'll stop now. XD;
I find artists make 'faces' while they're working on stuff, or muscles start tensing up for no reason. Strangely, for me, I start biting my lip and arching my right foot when I'm working on a real winner.

did you use french curves / rulers / circle templates? or are you that amazing that you can freehand perfect circles?
if yes to the former, do you carry them around with you, or did you do this in studio?
I simply adore the, well, the downright designyness of your drawings, and am a little too shaky to freehand it myself...

no i'm not that amazing. for the circle behind his head i used a circle template. & i used a ruler for the two lines. no french curves tho.
save for the bare minimum (sketchbook, some kind of pencil), i dont like toting a ton of shit around with me. i mostly draw at home.
