hm, i am not sure if this could be classified a cruiser... i mean, keep the dimensions in mind. the ship is about the same size as the akula class, the only difference being the akula having another warp gondola below the saucer while your design has this... hook thing. still tough, the akula class is just specified as a destroyer. so wouldn't this ship fit into that category too?

Somebody else came up with the TOS version and I just did a refit, so I don't know why the original designer designated it as a cruiser.
