"Oof, I'm not sure I can do this..." Terrakion muttered to himself.

He looked at himself, his blue tuxedo and red tie. In his opinion, he looked ridiculous; tuxedoes were not his thing.

"Yes, you can." Tyro, a Tyranitar and his best friend replied. "Aladar has been in the dumps ever since Chester decided to be a big douche and left him; and you even warned him about him! Not to mention that this was a couple weeks ago."

"That may be true, but Aladar doesn't really want to see anyone right now." The rock-warrior replied. "What makes you think that I'll be helping him?"

Despite being right about Chester, Terrakion felt really bad for the Zangoose. Chester may have liked Aladar, but he kept their relationship very secret, and almost never acknowledged that he the younger male were even dating. This was because he had an image to keep up, and he was afraid of his own father.

"You're his best friend Terra." Tyro replied. "It's your job to be there for him."

"You're also my best friend." Terra replied back.

"Yeah, but you only see me as a best friend. You see Aladar as way more than a best friend." Tyro explained. "I know how hurt you felt when he decided to go out with Chester, and despite that, you were still there for him when Chester wasn't."

Terrakion sighed.

"But he only sees me as a friend."

"He only sees you as a friend because you treat him that way. You can't just expect Aladar to fall in love with you because you're friends; just because you know how to make him happy." The dino said with a smile. "Guys like him want someone to show him how much they care, and put him first. Tough for the world, but soft for them. I know you're the guy for him Terra, but until you man up and show that side of you to Aladar, you'll be stuck in the friendzone, and he'll never ever like you."

Terrakion was surprised to hear this from his friend.

"Th-that's surprisingly good advice." He replied. "No wonder Keldeo likes you."

The rock-warrior then took a deep breath.

"Okay, wish me luck." He said, holding the rose he picked earlier.

Hmm, gonna be honest, I have mixed feelings for the setting.
Terrakion is my #2 husbando, but I haven't really decided on an AU for him and Aladar, which explains why this is my first solo pic of these two.
What I wrote is kinda similar to the AU with Solgaleo.

I'm still thinking, but I still love this picture a lot, and I really need to give Terrakion more love.
