That is an awesome logo for a team that played only one season in Las Vegas. I would so wear this on a trip to Las Vegas.

Yeah, because I know Las Vegas is well known for being in the middle of nowhere like a mirage in the middle of the desert. I've traveled to Las Vegas a few times in my life and I loved every single minute of it, despite all the casinos smelling like cigars. I also like exploring the desert just outside the city. There are some snakes and lizards and scorpions, plus that little bat species that eats nectar from cacti.
Yeah, the Coyotes played a single season there in 1999. Before they moved, an Oklahoma businessman named Billy Ballew owned the team, whose practice rink was located within his restaurant. He even received money from Barry Switzer and Troy Aikman to run the team. In 1997, he was busted for tax evasion and the team was left in limbo.
