Now I am in a process of renewal and at the same time putting my stories and characters in order. As part of these activities I believe that the correct thing is to start at the beginning, when I started my story.
When the story began it focused on a vigilante team and heroes known as the shield, a team consisting of 7 canines and 7 felines and an a mouse
This is the original Shield Team. You probably recognize some characters, others most likely this is the first that I draw a picture of them, or worse that even mention them, some of them have been mentioned in my history loosely or I have commented with Some friends
Originally the Shield team was supposed to be a mixture of canines and felines and would be given to the typical situations of "like dogs and cats"
Little is left of this team and the ones that are had several changes, even so I think it is fair to talk about them as howhave changed and what future they have.

Center:
Diana Withe: Originally Diana Wulff, the original idea was obviously to associate the figure of the alpha wolf and team leader. I chose the name Diana in reference to the goddess of the moon. I have aesthetically liked the designs of serious women with long black hair. She was designed to look like the baroness of GI joe, and play with ambiguity since originally in the early stories she was to act as a FreeLancer agent in the service of both sides Shields and Legion, Until early in history will reveal itself as the true leader of Shield. This story turned out to be very complicated so she simply start as the team leader from the beginning being a co-leader with Jack. Diana was and still is very serious, responsible and occasionally with little sense of humor, she has her alpha attitude, and Protects her team first. She changes from be from Eastern Europe, to half Native American. Another change is that originally it was a girl who had been used in a project tomade super soldiers, after several revisions I never liked this origin, It feel very cheap. Her current version is simply that her grandfather trained her in the family business of the private militias as she was offered a job as the leader of the shield, a simpler but less dramatic source that allows her to focus more on her present. Diana had a brother named Alan but in the current history there are no traces of him.
Diana is practically the first character I made and developed and probably that is what has allowed her to reach this point and will continue with us much more time

Left to right
Pharaoh: (Real name Osiris) He is the mystic of the team, master of dark arts and possessor of a great psychic power. Descendant of ancient Egyptian sorcerers he fulfills the function of being the older and mature character, always with some deep and wise word, but with a mysterious past. His golden mask serves as sensory deprivation to amplify his powers. The idea behind it is obviously a tribute to anubis the god so common in fandom. I wanted a more adult character to serve as a team mentor Originally he was going to have a deep rivalry with hamadrias a rivalry a cross the centuries.

Future: Pharaoh is a character I feel I can bring back at any time, I've tried it a couple of times, but I'd rather expect to find a moment where it's appropriate and can shine rather than just a random appearance.

Verónica Ferreiro: She has the honor of being one of the few maybe the only character that has not changed anything since her introduction. A strong and rude girl, who eventually engaged a very close friendship with Diana. Veronica's role was to be the driver of the team, and owned a motorcycle, is a girl who likes speed. Physically stronger than it looks. Its function is to be the loyal and decisive diana partners. I wanted a character that was a collie, taking advantage of the heroic perception of the breed I always say that it looks more like a Pomeranian.
Veronica has been here from the beginning and will most likely follow for a long time

Jack Slider: Another wolf, its function is to be coleader along with Diana, and with a relation between both. Jack had the role of contrasting being a less serious and more proactive leader. As Diana, he had military training and leadership and planning skills. As you may notice Jack was a fairly generic character and Diana soon reduced his role to being the Beta Wolf, most likely he was one of the first characters to leave.
Future: As I said he was not a very interesting character to start, I would have liked to be able to give him a more interesting development, or to see something better done with him. In the current story it is mentioned that the group before shield the "Watchers" was betrayed and destroyed, originally planned that the characters they did not use were part of that condemned team, but in the end I decided that they deserved better, Jack would be the Leader and only survivor, and after being lost a few years back and would meet with the new leader, Diana, in the end, their relationship attempt did not go smoothly, and did not help that eventually create Gabriela as the leader of the team.
For the moment I think that his destiny is to remain in the Limbo and his future uncertain.

Balistik: (Name Kyra Jones) Half wolf half husky, Balistik was the expert in firearms and explosive. She had the objective of being the rival of Diana and with whom she had frequent disagreements. Strong personality and an attitude of wanting to lead. A troublesome girl, but when the moment arrived she gave everything for the team, you know an archetype very common in the 80's character that always contradicts the leader. In combat she always preferred firearms, although she was no stranger to fighting hand to hand
Future: Today I really do not have interest in a character that only exists to create conflicts, Balistik was one of those that if Diana said white she said black, Diana has also recently acquired a new rival, the doe Laurier that instead of being a Rival who is in conflict with her is a rival that pushes her to overcome. What will happen to Balistik, I really do not know. I suppose there must be some way to improve her personality, but then comes the detail of where to locate her, and what her new role she would be

Rinaldo Volterra: Like diana, his greatest changes comes from its origin, Originally rianaldo was going to be the new member of the team, a civilian who joins the team due to his computer skills. Rianaldo had the role of being the clever boy of the team and the source of references and witty comments, besides being a little perverted and wanting to seduce the other girls in the team. I chose him to be a fox because these are associated with being very intelligent and skillful. His name Rinaldo comes from one of the likely translations of Reynard, from who is supposed to be a descendant. An important point is that rinaldo had agreed to join the team because he was looking for the murderer of his brother. As far his brother as his younger sister have not appeared or been mentioned in the story so at this point I do not know if he still have any family. His current story is that of a hacker who has been forced to work for the team instead of going to prison
Rinaldo a long with diana and verónica have been one of the few members of the team who continue to accompany us today and hoped that it will continue to be so.

Maxwell, "Max" Velarde: Neo City Police and team contact with City Police. Like Veronica I chose his species by the heroic association that is made with his breed, in this case a German shepherd. Max had the function of being someone who kept the team in contact with the situation in the streets, and at the same time serve as a moral axis avoiding that the team go very far in certain methods. Unlike Pharaoh, Jack and Balistik he survived the current version of the story and even became Diana's boyfriend, unfortunately this was so that something bad happened that would cause grief to the wolf.
Future: Technically Max exists within the canon of the sotry and is the boyfriend of Diana, but the fact that he did not appear there in a story or drawing in years says that most likely his fate is the same as the others. Taking into account his destination is probably for the good. Probably the reason that Diana prefers girls is that I have never been able to write a good male character to be her partner. What to do with Max, I do not know, maybe if I ever manage to find a reason for him to return for something more than being a lamb to the slaughterhouse, maybe he can take his place again.

Well this was very cathartic, I want to know your opinion, Why you believe that Diana, Veronica and Rinaldo were the only ones that managed to last, Do you think that there is still hope for the other characters? Which one you think can had a second chance?
