Sorry it took so long (no pun intended) to upload Alison's photo shot from
ScreamingEels . The following short story is told completely through dialogue while being a prequel to Macro Chasers http://www.furaffinity.net/view/21492267/ I posted a couple of months ago. It happens moments before Pa Gator and his team are called in to investigate. Shout out to
sythefoxHope for the Macro Chasers idea and I hope you enjoy the short story. Feel free to give me some grammar corrections and pointers. All I ask is that you be gentle :) .

Alison Long: Mom I'm fine.
Mom: Your as stubborn as your father. Its just you looked a bit...shaky at the airport like you were having trouble with your balance. And those reoccurring headaches ....
Alison Long: Are gone.
Mom: Are they?
Alison Long: I took something for it back at the hotel to get me through the day. Look my 2 best friends are getting married in 2 days and I was not about to miss that. You remember Ted Highwing and Betty River?
Mom: The students from the middle school foreign exchange program. How could I not? Stuck to you like glue they did. They visited our home so often some were beginning to think we adopted an Otter and Tiger into the family. Ugh the rumors and stories that circulated among our neighbors though. And don't talk about your grandmother! Oh she hated Ted. Not Betty just Ted.
Alison Long: Oh yeah I remember. Back in the the 7th grade when ever they visited us Grandma would open the door for Betty but slam it on Ted's noise. One time Ted complimented her wig and she threw her cane at him while yelling old swear words. I can remember him almost in tears later asking if she's just put some sort of curse on him. Poor Ted couldn't sleep a wink that night. Hahaha! Oh grandma. I miss her.
Mom: Me too. But right now I miss my daughter back in Japan. America is a long ways away for a worried mother.
Alison Long: I'm fine mom. A little sore from the flight and fat from all the food Betty's been cooking me but I'm just fine. Ok I'm coming up on the coffee shop. Want me to put you on speaker?
Mom: No no just .... have fun, stay safe and please give my best wishes to Ted and Betty.
Alison: I sure will. Love you Mom. Take care and call you tonight. Hey Ted! Betty!
Ted: Jezz a little louder why don't you? I don't think the whole city heard you. :)
Betty: Oh stop it Ted. She's just excited. Ignore him Alison. I plan on replacing him anyways with that hunky Panther we saw on the beach yesterday.
Ted: WHAT! YOU DON'T LOVE ME ANYMORE?!
Betty: Ted! Stop that! People are starting to look.
Ted: Hahaha!
Alison Long: Hahaha oh I love you guys you never...ow.
Betty: Hey honey are you ok. Is it the headaches again?
Ted: We could call it here if you like and take you back to the hotel.
Alison Long: No no its fine. Not gonna let a little pain stop this Long. Come on lets go get some coffee. Oh wait but first lets take a selfie for mom. No last second bunny ears Ted.
Betty: Don't worry I'm holding his hands.
Ted: And crushing them. Ow...
Alison Long: Ok ready? On three say sushi. One, two, three.
Alison Betty Ted: Sushi!!!
