Yay! My first real faculty at PCA! I got a craving to do some steampunk writing this morning, and I had been contemplating making a PCA professor for a while. So what did I do? I COMBINED THEM. Yes.

Emotional Description: Proper and well-mannered, he’s known for respecting those who respect him in return, and showing his classic wit to those who don’t. A traditionalist, due to his family upbringing, and mildly superstitious, the two combine to make him mildly obsessive compulsive with simple, kind gestures, such as holding open doors for women and the elderly.

History: Isaiah Fiddell was born into a conservative, extremist society just outside of Snowpoint City. Set in its ways and old-fashioned, it resembled the ways of society before the advancements that make living so simple today. It went so far as to ban all forms of technology, even technological species, including all steel-types and the Porygon breed. Isaiah developed a fascination with technology when he spotted a steamboat on the water outside of town, and was constantly shunned for his involvement in the taboo material. His father, a clergyman for the village, was protective of his son, though held down the law in his own home when able to. His mother, a midwife, cared for all of her children’s basic needs equally, and left the law to her husband. His siblings were all too eager to shove him away when they could, calling him names and bullying him into suppression. By age 14 he had had enough and, just before leaving for the Academy as a student, he made the final rebellion, evolving into a Scizor. The elders of his village, furious with this rash and outright violation of their creed, excommunicated the young man from their society, shutting him away from his family for life.

On a positive note, he was now free to delve into the technology that he had been blocked from all his life. He studied technological history religiously as he attended Combat Academy, beginning to tinker with trinkets and eventually building his own simple devices. He went on to University, and then to Graduate School, and finally Doctorate School, where he received a Doctorate in Metallurgy. But he had not strayed from the arena, fighting intensely in both sanctioned and underground battles.

Now, fresh out of school with his degree, the good doctor has set up shop at his alma mater, PokéCombat Academy, under new administration. And he’s brought all of his toys with him!
