Profile:
The first of the Travelers, Bear has no family that he is aware of. In his youth, he was abandoned as a cub and was raised by humana who constantly reminded him of how he should be “grateful” that they chose to raise him. Continually abused for merely being a furrie, he eventually began training as a samurai in secret. As soon as he came of age he ran away. Ever since, he wandered from town to town, searching for a place to call home. One day while just outside the village gates of Burdock he meets Spots, and after a short period of hostility, they became friends… although Bear had to quite literally knock some sense into him first. Now the two seek a place that they can live in peace. Bear is a master warrior with his katana, and is exceptionally agile for a creature of his size and bulk. Though it isn’t obvious at first, after a little time, it’s apparent that the samurai is a “man’s bear.”
