Magic is a sort of science in and of itself; energy is channeled, directed, and redistributed. Through this principal the feline mage knew that Zeek, a rabbit cursed with magical power that threatened to consume her, was in constant danger. Even though a magical parasite ate away the excess energy, there was always that chance that something would go wrong, that the creature would not get it all, something. Rather than risk Zeek becoming an arcane time bomb, Metal devised a way to help her vent excess magical energy.

Crafting a few focuses to help her channel her energy, Metal armed Zeek with arcane trinkets that channel the magical power coursing through her into solid forms. While such a thing would tire out even most well-trained apprentices, Zeek was a living well of arcane power, and didn't even seem to notice the drain.
