This is true of anything in life. Anything is absolutely possible, anyone can do anything....IF you put the time, effort and if available, passion into it.

A lot of people want something for nothing, just wishing they could BING themselves skills or wisdom or whatever. But that would take the satisfaction out of it. The hardships and toil are just as much a part of what you're working on, as the thing itself :D

I always end up telling people that the difference between artists and non-artists is often just how soon someone is willing to give up on their goal.

yeah everyone forgets that last part.

that's what I tell people as well, and everyone has different ways and style to convey their art~
I am still quite happy that I can draw pretty cute arts, and I do what I can to improve my lines, anatomy and coloring skills too~

For some people it's a natural ability. In grade school I knew a kid who was a better artist than anyone I've ever seen on this site. Even at a single digit age, he was drawing masterpieces. Saying ANYONE can be good at art is like saying ANYONE can be a Rocket Scientist if you take the time to do the work. It's true to a certain extent, but you'll find some people will take to it much more effectively than others. Not everyone's brains/bodies work the same way.
