In Japan they call those nekomimi or nekojin usually... I'm sorry Par-Chan. Its just a big pet peeve of mine when people use neko like that, especially when I hear people say it in person all americanized too. When I see some one use it, I instantly feel the need to educate them because I'm trying to break american otaku of some of their habits.
