So, with Injustice 2 just around the corner, giving us the ability to KINDA shape our favorite DC heroes and villains however we see fit, I thought I'd try my hand at creating my own rendition of my all time favorite DC villain; Bane.
As one of those nutty people who actually really loves The Dark Knight Rises, I like the idea of the Respirator. But at the same time, I love Bane's classic mask and the DC Rebirth version is outstanding. So, I thought I'd come to a sort of middle ground, where the mask still has the same patterns as the classic, but with more mechanized portions, and a breathing respirator more along the lines of Sub-Zero in Mortal Kombat than the snarling animal respirator of TDKR.
The rest of his body is kind of just my own general take, based on some of my favorite designs, namely, Bane's Arkham Origins look crossed with his current Injustice 2 look, only still sleeveless, since I wanted the venom to be visibly coursing through his veins.

Wow, that's actually a REALLY good design for him! I like how the headgear is faithful to the original, yet updated and unique. The combination of different versions of the dude is quite nice. Personally, I'd probably exaggerate his muscles and stature a bit, but other than that, I don't have many things I would change. Excellent work :)

I was contemplating going the more exaggerated look, but I always find my favorite iterations of Bane are the more middle ground ones, where he's big and powerful, but not a walking tank, if that makes sense. :P
