This was originally part of a design I did as an "audition" for a children's book project (about <shudder> ordinary human beings) in which peanut butter figured prominently.

But at least I wound up with this little design. I was told I could do whatever I wanted with the peanut butter label, and so naturally I thought - animal mascots! :) The design was inspired somewhat by the "Babar" books and cartoons.

Before uploading it here, I changed the name of the brand name to "Trippy" from the brand name the author had made up (which was also a parody of "Skippy"). The "Yippee! It's Trippy" slogan was my invention - at least, I don't think there was ever a slogan, "Yippee! It's Skippy!"
