Third in the teenage anthro CMC series. This time it's Scootaloo. Often with images I will have a quick flash in my mind where the image will suddenly spring into existence. However after the initial seed is planted my mind will often keep mulling over and expanding on the concept giving it more depth and substance. Sometimes it will just be me thinking about it. Other times the character in the picture or some other character will chime in with their two cents. If you're a regular watcher of my work I beat you can guess which one of my characters always seems to have an opinion about things.

So as I was starting to work on this piece Petina came into a corner of my mind pushing a large screen TV on it. After getting it positioning just right she turned it on, and then selected a video and then wandered off. This is imagery and dialogue she left me with.

"Scootaloo's phone went off in her pocket; retrieving it she stared at the text message then gave a fist pump.

"Yes!" Said the orange pegasus mare. "Rainbow Dash just texted me to let me know we've got the beach bungalow for July!"

"Beach Bungalow? July? Whatcha ya talking about Scoot?" Asked Applebloom as she looked from her magazine.

Scootaloo grinned at her longtime friend. "Yeah, RD and I are going to be taking 4 day weekend trip to Sea Stallion Beach. She's got this sweet place rented for us on the beach outside of town. Lots of white sand beaches, and lots of privacy. Lots and lots of privacy"

Sweetie Belle blushed a little. "Um Scootaloo, won't be that cause trouble for you two because..."

The pegasus mare shook her head. "Nah! I will have turned 18 a couple weeks before so it will be totally legal." She giggled. "I've been soooo looking forward to this!"

An older stallion came back holding a clip board. He walked up to Scootaloo. "Okay Flying Fingers your group is up in ten minutes. You ready?"

Scootaloo jumped off the caster wheel storage container. "Yeah let me do one last check the rest of band and we should be good to go."

She reached over an grabbed her guitar then paused and looked back at her two childhood friends. "You want to stay back stage or do want to watch my awesome performance up front?"

Applebloom grinned. "We'll just stay back here and watch. Go break leg Flying Fingers!"

Scootaloo smiled and went of to find the rest of her band members.
