And here it is, the coloured version of http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2349412 .
I wanted to work with markers once again and tried to smear around with them on bristol board. I decided that the female Varugs are a lot more colourful than the male ones, which are white with blue with glowy markings.
It shouldn't be always the males that are beautifully coloured. >;D
Anyway, for some reason, I really started liking the combination of both characters and think that I need to let off steam from my inspiration and draw more about both, especially the fox lady. :D
I really need to get used with markers as they are a fun medium to colour with. ^^
Watercolours, markers and coloured pencils.
Enjoy.

The fox lady. Her back leg disappears funny. Makes that mid/lower part of her leg look abnormally long. May just be me.
Love the colour blends and shading. Her hair looks great as well, a slight Okami feel to it and her clothes. ^..^ And I truly love your Varug's feet and I agree, females should have more over the males in pretty colours. It would certainly make more sense in a matriarchal society. ^..^

This is just amazing. You must've spent at least 8 hours on it...and that's how we get to the good stuff. She's beautiful, heck they both are. :3 I love all the colors in her scales. And...how exactly did you get the watercolor to work? In my experience, watercolor on bristol board kinda sucks after a few layers.
