I wasn't going to post any more tonight....but then realized that it'd be a good idea to post a pic of *ME*.
Ao what's this? It's a color guide (and sorta/kinda model sheet) for Kompy, my main fursona/mascot/what have you. Note that the design is a weeeeeeee bit closer to a 'realistic' design, as I have no finalized cartoon design and, well...if anyone ever wanted to try and make her extra-toony, they'd have something to work off on. She was originally supposed to be Mobian (as in from Sonic The Hedgehog-verse), but is no longer grounded to any one worldsetting anymore and is pretty much the Mickey Mouse to my Disney.
Additional details:
- She's far chubbier than most compies and has things some may consider as 'boobies' (nipple-less, but). This is because her anatomy is loosely based off my own, since she IS supposed to be my main fursona/mascot character and all. She now wears glasses for similar reasons (they're not permanent -- that is, she, like me, only needs them to read and look at things from a distance :P). The brown eyes come from me as well.
- Clothes are optional, but if made to wear clothes she'll stick to shirts and jeans and maybe a sweatband or two (based off my own typical fashion sense). They don't come any more tomboyish than her. Also, she never wears shoes. Ever.
- One. Stripe. Just one. Horizontal. Yellow. Streaks over eyelids (as shown).
- Actual size...I'm not sure of still. Compies were the size of chickens, but often I'll draw her at whatever size I want, topping at 5 feet (no more then that, ever). 2-3 feet is the most 'common' size I give her. Still big for her species.
- SHE HAS (tiny, conical) TEETH, I just have this weird habit of hardly ever drawing her with her mouth open. I totally forgot to do this here too, I'm so sorry x_x;;
- Feet were at one point inspired by the designs used on Gargoyles. The desitgn still lingers, though it HAS veered off a bit design-wise since lately I've been trying to make Kompy look more lika...a...compie. Yeah, I know.
- Why no protofeathers? Because *I SAID SO*. Sod off.
Aaaand...dassit. Yeah. Aside from the basic "rules" you're free to draw her as you see fit (except porn. Draw porn of anyone else you like of my collection but Kompy's off-limits!).

Well I've cameod in a couple things during the years, though it's hard to really keep up. Maybe a...comic or a familiar artist's fanart (which I again note has been a while, so I have been unloved as of late ;p)...got a Yerf account, dunno if that helps.

Why, that would be no fun at all then! I've hunted you down everywhere else since yesterday(Russian KGB, except the K stands for somethin' else)-it's other people's art of you that intrigues me, because other people make minor mistakes, and/or include funny, non-characteristic comments to it...besides, it could be that I know whoever drew ya last....
Yeah, for some reason, very few people can ever get the eye-stripe right, either it's horizontal, on the wrong eye or on *both* eyes (I have a pet peeve with that one). The second-most erroneous detail is the fingers/toes - Kompy has 3 on each, people sometimes add more or less. That I don't mind too much, though.
Well, compared to all the people with raptor personas...you are very special indeed!
And no problem! Maybe sometime when I feel a little dinosaur-rific i'll doodle her. That is...when I finally get around to finishing all the other horrible pictures i've got stock piling on my hard drive. *weeps*

POO How.. HOW I ask you.. did I miss this? it's just a testament to the fact that I should pay a lot more attention to the artists on my watch list..
