Not sure why he flipped sideways, the picture was straight everywhere else...but welcome Charmander as the first of the pixelated quilts available from Stitched Dragon Designs! Each of those little squares is indeed an individual square of fabric that we cut out of a big pieces to make 2" & then sewed them all back together & given 2 extra layers. Welcome to quilting lol.
