Some time ago, I was inspired by the design of the artist 
Gideon's horses and wanted to try to make one for myself, of an especially hulk-like variation. I really am a fan of his anthro-equine (is that even a word?) designs, particularly how he designs the lower legs and hoofs. Most of the time I see artists make them skinny and technically in line with real horse hoofs, but Gideon makes them look big, like they were born with boots with a hint of digitigrade effect to the legs. I'm really enamored with that style.
Anyway, this guy's name is Segus, of a story I was trying to write a long time ago that just didn't work. Was planning to make him something of a hulking Thor-type, traveling around with the cosmos with a tiny fairy lady hunting down an insane unicorned pegasus and even drawing up some comic-like superhero armor and such for him.
Learned to ink somewhat, but my color attempts thus far made the picture look ugly. So a color version of any art is still a long ways off.
