Yeah, after looking at other moth/butterfly sites on the web, I've pretty much just reverted to bugguide for everything again. Organization, photos, etc. of other sites, even university run sites, seems pretty fail from what I've found.
Navigating bugguide is a bit tricky, but they do have silhouette guides and quickglance categories, and climbing up above genus and working your way back down can be kinda interesting, watching families branch out etc.

Thankies - often think of moffs as teh bunnies of the insect world.
Some closeups of Sphinx moths (and leopard moths) are uncanny in their bunnyesque-cute factor.

Beautiful.
I've rarely seen anything other than small, brown moths in real life. But I once saw one of these on the windowsill in Charleston, South Carolina, once.

I couldn't stop staring. It was there for a few hours before I looked again and it was gone.

Very beautiful piece of art here and very nicely done anthro version of the genus vaxi. :3 I love how fluffy he is, and the design of his limbs, especially the legs, are rather nifty. :3
It is too bad that insects are underappreciated in the anthro world. Lovely and interesting creatures they are.
