Oh hey, you use a surface too! I've never had any experience drawing on different tablets but have you ever found that the surface pen drags a little bit? I might just be noob-ish with it but I find it difficult to convey small details. Do you use the newest model? I've got a pro 3.

I use a Surface Book! As for the pen, I do notice that the hovering cursor lags around the edges but once you actually put the pen to the screen, it's fine.

Before using the Surface Book, I used the Wacom-based Pro 2, and before that I used a Thinkpad tablet (also Wacom). While those were more responsive and didn't require a battery for their pens, they weren't very accurate and there were parts of the screen where the cursor didn't line up with the tip of the pen and that was annoying as hell. The accuracy of the tech they switched to on the Pro 3 and above makes up for its shortcomings, I feel.

Ah, I see! I may just have to optimize the sensitivity and whatnot for Sai. I agree with you there though, I've never had any problems regarding accuracy although I've heard of wacom-based tablets having tonnes of issues with pinpoint accuracy and other tech-related stuff.

All thing considered, I bought the surface before I even made the decision to switch to digital art; it was certainly a lovely surprise to find the pen wasn't just gimmicky garbage but is actually highly functional as a drawing tool!
