Fiyas had it all. Kingdom, country, maids, butlers. Anything a king could want. Of course, times changed and the kingdom's council ushered in the age of democracy. Though strange to him, Fiyas was sure his kingdom would vote to elect them as their leader, for he was their beautiful benevolent king.
But he was wrong.
Stripped of his titled and removed from the palace, he has little left but some artistic ability which he hopes to use to bring income and gain the trust and respect of his former people.

Selling paintings is no easy feat and without much knowledge of marketing, Fiyas resorted to selling his paintings outside of his little home. The first few weeks after his dethroning, business boomed. It was quiet novel an idea to the villagers to own a painting made by their former king, but soon the novelty wore off, and Fiyas found himself no better off than other artists about town. Managing only a single painting every couple days, money came slowly and desperation was on the horizon for the ex-king until an odd patron approached his table.
