*The Hunt*
Nekonny peeked around the edge of a building at the corner of a street pressing his light orange body into the sidewalk and making himself as small as possible to avoid being seen. It was getting late and the few people who trotted past him didn't seem to have any attention to spare the frightened looking cat they passed. He'd been pursued all day be a relentless predator and his body ached from the exertion of constant running and countless last second dodges that had managed to save him from capture. There'd been no sign of his pursuer in the last hours vigil though and he was close enough to home that he thought he could make it in a mad dash. The small bell attached to his collar rattled making a tiny sound as he edged forward taking a few tentative steps down the sidewalk. His eyes darted in every direction on watch and his ears turned this way and that at every sound they picked up. He walked slowly not wanting to draw attention to himself but felt his pulse pounding in his head.

"Hello Kitty." Nekonny froze mid-step his paw hovering an inch from the ground and he looked up to find the source of the voice. A female wolf prime was hanging out of an open window a few feet over his head, she hadn't been there seconds ago of that he was certain. Her fur was a dark grey except for the strip of white that run up the middle of her torso and her chin, she was wearing a black swimsuit top and a short black skirt that day. Her raven black hair streaked with blue fell down around her head subject t gravity's whims but it did nothing to obscure her large grin and the chilling perfect blue of her eyes. Nekonny darted forward hoping to avoid her once more but she leapt down from the window picking him up in a crushing hug and twirling around with him. "I finally gotcha hun!"

"No! Lemme go already Omega! All of this hugging is going to get us in trouble!" Nekonny's bell began to glow a bright green, they both ceased struggling to look at it in wonder until it flashed with a great burst of light blinding them. A moment later the light was gone as well as Nekonny and Omega. In their place stood a feminine prime that blended the features of a wolf and a cat. She wore the same clothing Omega had but her face was more rounded and her coloring had changed to include a lighter shade of black and orange stripes going up and down her body. "What the...I told you this would get us in trouble!" The voice was Nekonny's for a moment but then faded to the satisfied purr of Omega. "Sorry hun." She ran her hands up her new body and walked down the street back towards her room wondering how long the transformation would last.
