So, several people said, "Go ahead and post it!"
So, I'm posting it.

Back in nineteen seventy-nine
A new network was the first of its kind
It was made for the American man
Who could call himself a sports fan
Highlights, action from all the leagues
All in one place we could access with ease
Watch the big games on our 60-inch screen
It was nothing like we had seen
We'd spend our evenings with ESPN
All weekend long, we'd watch ESPN
They had everything a sports fan could enjoy
With Chris Berman and all the boys
"Back, back, back, back, back, gone!" - ESPN
"He could go all the way!" - ESPN
After long days at work, we'd turn on the TV
For our escape from reality
Now when I tune in for the scores
I'm bombarded with opinions galore
Games and highlights get pushed out of the way
For the social cause of the day
Be it gender equality,
Racial bias, or police brutality
It all seems like they would much rather be
Fox News or MSNBC
What happened to the sports, ESPN?
Abandoning your roots, ESPN
With all your talking heads and your document'ries
Tell me, who are you trying to please
With this new attitude, ESPN?
Oh, why the sudden change, ESPN?
Making yourself PC for this millennium
Can't you see just what you've become?
Hey man, is my point getting through?
There are millions who have had enough, too
Making layoffs hoping you can survive
But your network leaves us so jived
That's why we have stopped watching you
Advertisers are losing their revenue
Now there's choices, maybe four, five or six
When we want to get our sports fix
You're no monopoly, ESPN
There's better options than ESPN
We won't sit through your crap when we easily can
Stream the games we want on demand
That's how it works these days, ESPN
Consumers in control, ESPN
ESPN, are you listening to me?
ESPN, bring back sports on TV
ESPN
Remember demographics, ESPN
ESPN, here's what we want to see
ESPN, bring back sports on TV
So, I'm posting it.

Dude, this is awesome! You guys just pretty much put that network in it's place, after all it's recent times with ESPN always bringing in identity politics into all their podcasts and talk shows. No wonder their ratings and viewerships have been declining. Despite not being much of a political thing, I still think this is worthy of a parody song that can reach on ahead to go gold.
You guys oughta give yourselves a hand for putting this together. Hope that Disney learns to fix their crap along with fixing up Marvel Comics (since they own them too) and get rid of all their SJW comics.

A lot of people stopped watching ESPN because politics and all that jazz is all they talk about, expect for sports. Look what happened to G4 TV. They stopped showing TV programs about videogames in favor of re-runs of COPS, Cheaters and Star Trek, when those programs can be seen on other networks. And as of now, the channel is gone. MTV is going down the drain because that channel is a SJW network since they are anti-white, anti-Family, pro-racist and pro-drugs.
I dont mind the documentaries like 30 for 30. but I agree, get rid of the talking heads like Stephen A Smith who is obnoxious as hell and a few more choice words not fit for public display. Chris Berman has always had the ego but at least he, IMO, made the game fun to watch. I do feel sorry for him right now losing his wife in a car accident.
I could me like my grandfather and just mute the game and just watch it, but with ESPN not showing enough sports it's a far cry to what I remember as a kid growing up.

You should send it to Schnitt! I'm sure he is going to love it and put it on his show.

You can listen to his show and podcasts right on the page I linked.
I listen to him on the radio when I'm driving, he mostly makes sarcastic commentary of news and politics, he has talked about topics similar to the ones the song lampoons and has played parodies of songs a few times in his show. So I guess this one would fit. But of course, you should be the judge of that.
