I don't feel good about how long this took. It was a free raffle conversion, but nevertheless zettan was incredibly patient with me while I took way too long to get it done. I think I like how it came out, but as usual I feel like it's mostly due to how cool the original art was. What do you think?

Yay! Another GIMP user! :D GIMP doesn't get enough credit; it's not perfect, but I think it's great.
Blender does have a steep learning curve if you want to do something specific with it, but the nice thing is that if you just want to have fun and experiment you really don't need to learn much. Maybe I should do a "just screwing around" tutorial! :3

I dont recommend Gimp whenever someone asks. Its very hard to understand it by yourself. i needed 2 years to work with it properly. Other programs seem to be much more easy to use. And they dont bug out as often as gimp does.
I prolly wont do anything with 3d anyways cause im more a drawing person than modeling and 3d animation and such xDc

Well, to each their own. There are definitely some areas that GIMP needs to improve. It's development is slower than some other open source projects so it does lag behind sometimes. But it works well for me.
Well, I can't draw to save my life, so I'm glad I can do something else! If everyone who could draw could also model, I'd have no use at all! :S ;)
