Well.. basically, Yona was handed a sand-filled hand-exercise "egg" that was like a balloon, filled with sand.. or something like that. And she was dared in a truth or dare game to love it as if it were her universe, her everything, her light and joy, yadda yadda yadda. And she did.. until the rubber egg thing broke with a PIF! And then sand everywhere. And so, Yona played out the loss of her beloved egg. Very melodramatic. It was one of my first memories of Yona, and one of the moments that kinda sealed me as her friend. So, as a birthday present, this was important. I could not draw back then at all,and have wanted to do this image since that night. It's been in my head for like.. six years. o.o Feels good to put it on paper.

This really chokes me up - and it makes me sad that I didn't know all of you 6 years ago, and chances are I was right THERE in front of you all. ^_^
