on numerous occassions. but only on minor stuff like gap filling or small detail sculpting.
the way i see it is, if i start small, i can always add more if there isnt enough even after its dried.
im not saying one method is better over the other, just that, that's how ive done it in the past.

*has done very little work with greenstuff, but can attest to its useful ness in getting "unique" poses, like a kneeling space Marine.* And you think those are bad? Hell, my first 25 Space marines have their shoulder pads on BACKWARDS! >.> (in that they extend further to the side than down the arm, more anime style than Grim Darkness of the Future.
