Meme I found off of DA and thought it would be fun.
Original if any of you want to play with it- http://kinkei.deviantart.com/art/Ch.....eeme-120962599
There's an extra bonus game in my meme though... it's called spot the "King of the Hill" reference.
Oh yeah... here you get to see Reynard's updated outfit for the new version of my comic. It has gogglesHOWFANCY! And for the different style one... I was originally going to do it in the style of Lane Smith (who did illustrations for a lot of children's books like "The True Story of the Three Little Pigs," "The Stinky Cheeseman and other Fairly Stupid Tales" and "James and the Giant Peach"), who has a kickass style, but was amazingly hard to find reference for (since I was too lazy to dig through my old children's books and for once the internet was SURPRISINGLY UNHELPFUL....) so I went with another guy who I think has a kickass style... Gary Baseman (http://www.garybaseman.com/). And damn his style is fun to draw!

That is possibly one of the best description as to what most cartoon channels are.
Nickelodeon, Disney (to the largest extent), and Cartoon Network as well. Because even though they still show cartoons, most of them are like, just trying to be all reality show-y ("6teen" "Total Drama Island/Action" etc) and they even now have a Survivor knockoff and a show about some 13-15 year old paranormal investigators.
Bleh, those shows jut turn people away from the paranormal since so much can be edited via cameras and such in the wide world of TV.

I know. And it also kind of makes the idea of the paranormal hard to take seriously.
I know there are a lot of nutjobs that are attracted to the paranormal, and the paranormal can attract its fair share of frauds and hoaxers, but the idea of the paranormal and things left undiscovered or things that might be beyond the range of science, I think, has a lot of ground for legitimacy. The world, the universe, and existence is still very enigmatic despite all of our scientific advancements... and to me, that's one of the attractive points for me, about the paranormal and the supernatural.

I agree, it's just so...impossible to figure out. Like, I've had a few brushes with things of a paranormal sort, with a skeptic with me no less; now he holds it as plausible. Also, another huge draw is the adrenaline rush you get from being there in the experience.
But yeah, all of the stuff about it now makes it kinda laughable, which is sad.
