Aw, thanks. Every time I think about a sequel, though, I don't see it ending well. I like the "happily ever after" of the original story.

Well I still think it could be interesting, although the Happily Ever After part makes sense, Ty and Denise are probably raising their hybrid children in happyness. Although who do you think a sequel wouldn't end well?

Well, if you look at how Ty left his human life, any conflict that could arise to make the second story interesting would likely cause Denise to be discovered. The conflict in the first story was sort of Ty's love versus his life. That conflict resolved, any new conflict for the sequel would have to come from outside Denise and Ty's world, and the most likely genesis for that would be people coming to look for Ty because his efforts to disappear weren't totally successful. Denise lived a largely solitary life before Ty so options there are limited. Also, introducing other furry characters diminished Denise's uniqueness and brings its own host of problems.

Yeah it makes sense. Sometimes things are better left as one story. I mean, look at all the Disney Direct to video sequels. Well even if there is no sequel, I can easily imagine what would happen next, if my theory of hybrid children is accurate lol.

Although I wonder if there are ny other anthros besides Denise out there?

Ah cool, so I imagine their children would easily be able to find other anthros out there without being revealed to human kind.

The way I sort of envisioned the anthro world working was that they met at little meetings every so often, where they kept each other updated on things, maintained family bonds, and so on. So yup!
