Technical: You might want to switch over from *.JPG to *.PNG for these sorts of drawings, since shaded lineart compresses well and PNG doesn't suffer from compression artifacts. I've used .JPG for a few complex things, but I probably have more ability to tinker with how it compresses images in order to produce better output.

Critical: Anatomy is tough. Practice practice practice and show me more of your test sketches. You're getting better at doing heads, though, although pixel-editing in your irises and such would make your eyes look better.
