What many forget is the the Great War did not affect only America but the whole world itself, and over 200 years later most of civilization still lies among rubble, settlers and civilians constantly fighting off raiders and mutated abominations of the wastelands they reside in...

The Great War was merciful to the town surrounding the Alamo, San Antonio. Only one bomb fell, blasting the northern part of the town into a crater. The Alamo itself by chance, was completely untouched. About fifty years after the end of the War, the Brotherhood of Steel moved in, making it their main base of operations for Texas. There were several vaults located in the city and all eventually opened up over time to try to rebuild their once proud society, in 2287 a coyote vault dweller from Vault 06 (ref. to 03/06/1836) decided to establish the 'New Texas Rangers' to maintain justice, security and local law enforcement as opposed the the more self-centered Bos. Being own is own for this idea he donned the nickname 'The Lonestar.'

Boston itself was never hit directly, instead, an area southwest of the city was targeted, mainly due to the industrial and military significance it held. Despite this, Boston's status as a major city would suggest that it was attacked in some form. In 2287 a single vault dweller emerged from the remains of Vault 111, she would become known as the 'Sole Survivor' swearing revenge for her murdered spouse and to find her lost son, somewhere out there in the Commonwealth (of Massachusetts).

What can be said about the New Californian Republic is something of a new "wild west". Ranging from most of California down south to the Cali. Peninsula and reaching as far as Vegas, life here is meant for the toughest of the tough. Coming down from south of the border, a lone vixen makes her way up and east towards the Texas Commonwealth, hearing rumors of a job opportunity in the Alamo city, this could perhaps be the start of a better life for her as well. Equipped with a experimental Nanosuit she recovered from an abandoned lab out of her hometown, raiders will think twice before challenging this new 'Lone Wanderer.'
