I had this commissioned as part of a larger 'character project'. Huge thanks to 
DarkShadow777 for doing this for me, he did a terrific job, and I know he enjoyed doing it, too.
Armor and a more potent weapon are signs of greater power and effectiveness, but they're mostly for show at this point, as magic handles protection much better than normal armor, and the sword is a projection of her power rather than a standalone physical object.
